The John Caunt Scientific GMS311 Spectral Gamma Logger is a hand held Gamma Spectrometer designed to detect naturally occurring gamma radiation.
The Instrument is used to monitor gamma radiation over a user defined period and display the results in four predefined Regions of Interest (ROI). The predefined ROI are Uranium, Potassium, Thorium and a total gamma (total spectrum counts). It is also possible to add user defined ROI in 3 additional channels available on the instrument.
Survey results are saved manually or automatically to the internal memory of the instrument, so that they may be downloaded and analysed on a PC via the GMS311 Data Manager Application software.
The GMS311 Data Manager Application Software and GMS311 Data Manager Software user guide are provided with the GMS311 on the accompanying CD.
